It is wonderful. I have read Crank, Glass, and have just inished Burned and am very impressed with this author. Ellen Hopkins is a genius when it comes to her books. I love how she uses real life topics in a way that makes you listen. Like you said, I was pretty much ready to try meth, but when I got to the end of the book, I scolded myself for even thinking about it. I'm doing my report on it right now. It almost made me feel guitly for all the mistakes I have ever made. I've never really thought about doing drugs or having sex at such a young age. I totally know what you mean. this book rocked my socks. I was in 8th grade when i first read this book. I am now in 10th grade now and i have read it for the 2nd time. in the period of 8th to 10th grade after reading it the 1st time to the 2nd time now i have not been able to stop thinking about it. it is a very honest and true story. when i was born and growing up i had to deal with my mom and her many addictions to many different drugs. i myself am a crack baby. my mom was on many different drugs over the course of her pregnancy with me. When I brought the book to school this year everybody asked me if was what the movie "CRANK" came from and i would have to explain to them that it was not. this is a very great bookand i am glad Ellen Hopkins wrote it because it has opened my eyes to many things. i wanted to try the drug until i read it. I was actually getting ready to try it a week after i finished reading it. then i was like "NO THANK YOU".
